About Us

Cheeky Monkees Childminding is a small group of Registered Childminders living and working in Calne, Wiltshire and the surrounding area. We are all Ofsted approved, CRB checked, First Aid Trained, Insured and members of the NCMA.

Three Childminders, who felt there was a need for a new support group in the area, set up the group. We were kindly offered rooms at the local Children’s Centre and we meet every Monday morning 9:30am - 11:30am to socialise and enjoy a morning of fun and activities.

These sessions are very informal, where the children can play with a wide range of toys, to suit their ages and stages of development in complete safety. A typical morning involves free play, art and craft sessions, snack and singing.

As we grow, we aim to offer fun days and events outside of the group session. We recently held our first Barnardo’s Big Toddle. It was a huge success and we raised over £500.00.

We intend to become a valuable resource for local Childminders with vacancies or needing information and families looking for affordable, quality childcare.
